Prologue Time Trial
General Info - Prologue TT
When: Morning of Saturday, July 27th
Where: Shakopee High School, Shakopee, MN
Description: 4.5 miles over rolling terrain, U shaped point to point course.
Check-in: Opens at 7am, there will be no day-of registration for the time trial.
Additional Information:
Registration will be at Shakopee HS for both the time trial and the criterium.
The start line of the time trial is approximately one mile south on Townline Ave from Shakopee HS. Riders may choose to drive or ride to the start line, but the roads will not be closed and riders must be safe and obey all traffic laws in transit to and from the time trial course.
Rider start times will be staggered by category to minimize downtime between the time trial and the criterium; the first riders off will be in the first criterium race.
Start times will be published following the closing of online preregistration.
For the Time Trial, you may race a road bike, TT bike, or a road bike with clip-on aerobars.
TT Course Map
Course Description: Start will be on Townline Ave south of 130th street/CR 78. Riders will go south on Townline, turn west on 150th street/CR 14, and proceed to Marystown Road/CR 15. The finish line will be just south of 130th st/CR 78 on Marystown Road. See the map below for a visual.
There will be no road closures for the time trial, for participant safety, riders must ride on the shoulder of the road when possible. Corner marshals will be located at each of the turns.
