Omnium racing returns to the land of 10,000 lakes!

July 27-28, 2024

A two day, three event weekend of bike racing comes to the south metro of Minneapolis/St. Paul! The weekend kicks off with a short 4.3 mile individual time trial, followed by a return to the infamous Shakopee High School criterium course. Racing action will resume Sunday the 28th as West River Racing brings back the Lakeville road race course from last year.

The Minnesota State Championships for road racing will also be awarded during the Minnesota Omnium road race!

GENERAL INFO

WHERE: Saturday races will be held in Shakopee, MN and Sunday races will be in Lakeville, MN

EVENTS: 4.5 mile rolling prologue TT, 12 corner criterium, and road race, see below for more info on each race!

PREREGISTRATION: Bikereg here! Early bird registration for the full omnium is $110 for adults and $50 for juniors until 7/1, after which the full omnium will be $120 for adults and $60 for juniors. Online registration closes Thursday July 25th at 10pm.

DAY OF REGISTRATION: Will be available for the criterium and road race! See the registration table at each day’s respective location. Time trial will be preregistration only.

OMNIUM POINTS: Will be awarded 15 places deep! See below for the points distribution. Ties will be broken by TT placing, and all participants in the time trial will receive at least one point.

Saturday Schedule

The time trial will start at 8:00 am Saturday, with registrant times being announced via email and posted on the website Friday the 26th. Time trial start order will follow the order of the crits schedule. For example, men novice riders will be first off the line for the TT, and men 1/2/3 riders will be the last off.
