General Info - Road Race

When: Morning/afternoon of Sunday, July 26th

Where: Start/staging will be at Afton Alps. Finish line will be on
70th St S heading towards Afton Alps.

Registration: Opens at 7:30 am, closes 15 minutes before the start of each wave.

  • Day of registration available! ($75 adults / $40 juniors)

  • Online registration closes midnight July 24th ($65 adults / $30 juniors)

Course Description: Fast circuit course south of beautiful Afton. Neutral rollout from Afton Alps on to St. Croix Trail. Finish line is located on 70th St S heading back towards Afton Alps.

Minnesota State Road Race Championship: Titles will be awarded with this race!

Additional Information:

  • Combined fields will be scored separately as noted. Field times and start may be slightly (<15mins) adjusted day of to combine smaller fields.

  • Podiums will be near registration approx. 30 minutes after finish

  • In extreme heat conditions, total distances may be adjusted

  • Neutral water on course will be provided by West River Racing. Feed zone location is just past the finish line.

  • The road race must be entered with a typical USAC legal bike.

  • USAC License Required.

  • Only MN residents may receive state championship podium

  • Two new race numbers provided at registration. Sample kit placement will be displayed. (Upper left, and right side.)

  • Parking is available in the Afton Alps parking lot

  • Please do not park along the roadway to the facility or park

  • Restrooms and water will be available

  • Neutral roll out will be from the parking lot.
